SLO Sangha is a mindfulness community that practices in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. All are welcome regardless of spiritual affiliations or meditation experience.
What Happens at the Sangha?
At our meetings, besides sitting and walking meditation, we listen to Dharma talks by Thich Nhat Hanh and study Dharma readings, read sutras, recite the Five Mindfulness Trainings, hold dharma discussions and practice various other teachings.
Our normal schedule is outlined below and will vary depending on the day and group facilitator:
30 minutes of sitting and/or walking meditation
30 minutes of dharma talk, reading or recitation.
30 minutes of dharma discussion
